goEast, the 10th annual Wiesbaden-based festival of Central and Eastern European films, included the Lithuanian film The Balcony (dir. Giedrė Beinoriūtė) in its special programme „School Film Days”.
The film was introduced by the producer Jurga Gluskinienė, who stayed till the end of the screening to answer questions from the audience. The movie hall was full of viewers, who showed great interest in the film, appreciated the way the specific period had been recreated as well as the subtle portrayal of the children’s first love or the parents’ divorce.
