Tai turėjo būti mano pirmasis interviu nuo mokyklos laikų. Šiek tiek nerimavau, tad kad toji pradžia būtų kuo sklandesnė, ilgai nedvejojusi brūkštelėjau laiškelį Giedrei Beinoriūtei – kino (ir teatro) režisierei, kuri didžiąjai daliai žmonių labiausiai pažįstama kaip filmo „Balkonas“ režisierė. Ir tikrai neapsirikau – ji ne tik talentinga, tačiau ir maloni bei įdomi jauna moteris, kurios kūryba gimsta iš jausmo bei didelio noro dalintis tuo, kas gražu.

February 13. Hundreds of people in Vilnius club Tamsta cheered the winners of the unique in Lithuania Pravda Newcomers awards. Elzbieta Degutytė who played Emilija in Giedrė Beinoriūtė’s film The Balcony was named the Best Newcomer in Film. The youngest of the debutants won the award against the director Jūratė Samulionytė (Noroutine), director Kristina Buožytė (Collectress), director Žeraldas Povilaitis (5 Day Scam).
Another award to G. Beinoriūtė’s Grandpa and Grandma! The documentary animation film about exile to Siberia has recently won the second place at the Vilnius Documentary Film Festival.
